Abstract
Proof of Execution where blocks are produced decentralized, instead of Proof of Stake.
Motivation
There should be no single block proposer for a given block. Apart from availability concerns like proposer going offline, this also puts the onus on a single proposer. To mitigate this, all validators should get consensus among themselves by selecting transactions to include in the block. Moreover, the validators to be included in the block should be based on whether they have validated and executed transactions before.
